Who we are
Rent Boat Dubrovnik is the direct-booking boat-rental brand of Technic One d.o.o. (OIB 63056167991), a Dubrovnik company founded in 2008 that also trades as Garitransfer. It rents 8 boats self-drive or with a skipper and runs 10 boat tours from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik, Lapadska obala 21a, every season from April to October.
The legal entity is Technic One d.o.o., OIB 63056167991, EU VAT number HR63056167991, with its registered seat at Vinogradarska 10, 20236 Nova Mokošica, Croatia. The same company, phone number, marina and fleet also trade as Garitransfer (Gari Transfer) at garitransfer.com — if you have booked with either name, you have booked with us. We are a registered Croatian charter operator; the two names are two shopfronts for one pier.
Everything departs from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik at Lapadska obala 21a, in the Gruž–Lapad part of the city, about 15 minutes by taxi (roughly 4 km) from the Old Town. The season runs April to October, with peak demand from June to September, and the pier is staffed 08:00–20:00 daily in season.

Nikša Perović founded the company behind Rent Boat Dubrovnik (Technic One d.o.o., also trading as Garitransfer) in 2008 and has skippered its boats from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik since 2010. He holds a Croatian Maritime Directorate Category C skipper licence and a Sea Rescue certification, and still runs trips himself along the Dubrovnik coast, to the Elaphiti Islands and the Koločep Blue Cave.

8 boats and 10 tours from one pier
The fleet runs from the licence-free Pasara 5 HP at €150 for a half-day to the Quicksilver 805 Sun-Deck flagship, every boat sold self-drive as the base rate with a skipper as an optional add-on. The tours split into 6 private itineraries priced per group (from €250) and 4 shared departures priced per person (from €15); every tour price includes the licensed skipper, fuel and safety equipment. How we run a safe day on the water
Every rental starts with a safety and boat-handling briefing at the pier — the engine, the anchor, the life jackets and the areas to avoid close to the city walls — and every boat carries life jackets for everyone on board. For self-drive we check the original of your boating licence or ICC on any boat over the 5 m / 5 kW threshold set by the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure; the Pasara 5 HP sits under it and needs none.
We plan every day around the official marine forecast from DHMZ — Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service. If DHMZ issues a marine wind warning for your date we cancel and refund 100%, even inside 24 hours, and the skipper at the pier has the final say on whether a self-drive boat goes out and where a tour goes. Third-party liability insurance is included with every rental; full policy terms are available on request before you book.
Why we sell direct
Marketplaces charge the operator a commission on every ticket, and that commission is built into the price you see there. Booking direct with us is typically 15–20% cheaper for the same boat, the same skipper and the same departure. Pay securely online by card through Stripe Checkout, or by card or cash at the marina by prior arrangement. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure with a full refund. If DHMZ (the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service) issues a marine wind warning for the day, we cancel and refund 100% — even inside 24 hours. Cancellations inside 24 hours for other reasons are non-refundable, but we will rebook you into the next available slot free of charge whenever we can.

We depart from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik at Lapadska obala 21a — NOT Marina Frapa Rogoznica, the larger resort marina near Šibenik about 230 km north. Our Blue Cave tours visit the Koločep Blue Cave in the Elaphiti Islands, 25 minutes from Dubrovnik — NOT the Biševo Blue Cave near Vis, which is over 200 km away. We are not affiliated with the Facebook page "Rent a boat Dubrovnik", with "Dubrovnik Boat Rent" or with "Dubrovnik Boat Rentals".
