Book a boat or tour in Dubrovnik online

How booking works

Choose a boat or tour, pick a date and departure time, add a skipper if you want one, and pay by card through Stripe Checkout — the full price is charged at booking and your confirmation arrives by email. You can cancel free up to 24 hours before departure, and weather cancellations are refunded in full.

1. Pick what to book. A self-drive or skippered boat rental, a private tour priced per group, or a shared group tour priced per person.
2. Choose the slot and time. Boat rentals run as a half-day (10:00 or 14:00) or a full day (10:00); each tour has its own fixed departures, listed below.
3. Pay by card. Pay securely online by card through Stripe Checkout, or by card or cash at the marina by prior arrangement.
4. Meet at the pier. We email your confirmation and a map pin for Marina Frapa Dubrovnik; the skipper or pier staff hand over the boat after a safety briefing.

Payment

Pay securely online by card through Stripe Checkout, or by card or cash at the marina by prior arrangement. The amount shown in the order summary is the full amount charged — there is no separate deposit and nothing further to pay for the boat on the day. Fuel is included on the Pasara 5 HP. On every other boat, fuel is charged on top according to what you actually use, settled at the marina when you return.

Cancellation and weather

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure with a full refund. If DHMZ (the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service) issues a marine wind warning for the day, we cancel and refund 100% — even inside 24 hours. Cancellations inside 24 hours for other reasons are non-refundable, but we will rebook you into the next available slot free of charge whenever we can.

We follow the official marine forecast from DHMZ — Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service rather than a phone app; if a warning is issued the evening before, we contact you by WhatsApp and email before you set off for the marina. To cancel or move a booking, reply to your confirmation email or message +385 91 600 1201 with your name and booking date.

Fuel, licence and skipper

Boats under 5 m with engines up to 5 kW (our Pasara 5 HP) need no licence under Croatian law. Every other boat needs a recognised national boating licence or ICC for self-drive — or you add one of our skippers. The threshold is set by the Croatian boating regulations of the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure; bring the original licence to the pier, where we check it before the briefing.

Skipper add-on: €50 per half-day, €70 per full day (€80 full day on the Fisher 20), on boats where it is offered. Every tour already includes the skipper and fuel. Third-party liability insurance is included with every rental; full policy terms are available on request before you book.

Meeting point

All departures are from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik, Lapadska obala 21a, 20000 Dubrovnik — about 15 minutes by taxi (roughly 4 km) from the Old Town, next to the Gruž port. Parking is available at Marina Frapa. Please be at the pier 30 minutes before departure so the briefing and paperwork do not eat into your slot. Directions and a map are on the contact page.

What to bring

• Swimwear, towels, sunscreen and a hat — most tours and rentals include at least one swim stop.
• The original of your boating licence or ICC for self-drive on any boat over 5 m.
• Something to drink; tours carry a cooler with ice, and the Pasara and larger boats have space for a picnic.
• Cash or a card for lunch ashore and, on the Mljet tour, the national park entry ticket, which is not included.
• A light layer for the ride home on evening tours.
